Quick and Easy way to display your Etsy Mini as Twitter Background

I have a "Etsy Mini" in my Twitter profile background, and I have a few people asking me how I put one up. It's very easy and only takes up 5 mins of your time! I used Microsoft paint since most people own a PC, but you can adapt it to other picture editing tools as well.

Here's the tutorial:

1) After signing into your Etsy account, go to "Your Etsy" and select "Etsy Mini" in the lower left hand corner.

2) Select how you want your Etsy Mini to look. I usually like to use thumbnail with 1 column, but you can choose however you want.

3) After you see the preview to your etsy mini, scroll down the browser so you can see your entire etsy mini. Then on your keyboard select "Ctrl - Print Screen" to get a print screen of your etsy mini.

4) Open up the Microsoft Paint application. Select "Edit - Paste" and the screen-print will appear in Paint. 5) Use the "Select" tool and select the Etsy mini section of your print screen. Then go to "Edit - Copy" to copy your Etsy mini. Open a new Paint document by selecting "File - New" and then select "Edit - Paste" to paste your etsy mini into the new document. Save your new etsy mini picture to your computer as jpeg file. 6) After logged onto your Twitter account, select "Settings" in the upper right hand corner. Then Select the "Design" Tab. There is a button in the bottom named "Change Background image". Select the icon and upload the Etsy mini picture you just saved. Select "Save changes" when you are done. 7) That's it! Your Etsy mini image is now on your Twitter background!

Hint: If you want your entire Twitter background to be filled with your Etsy mini image, select "Tile background"after you uploaded the Etsy mini image.

Thanks for posting this. The only problem I had with adding it to my twitter page is that it won't tile my image for some reason. I wish that I could get it to tile but each time I check the tile option it doesn't tile it. Weird?

I am glad this worked for people. When I hit Ctrl - Print Screen nothing happened. :( I've been wanting to know how to do this for awhile.

I hope I'm not leaving this comment twice, but I LOVED this tutorial! Thanks so much! I made a pic of both of my Etsy shops' minis and tiled it.

Twisted in Texas - As a former Mac user (System 9!), I remember a list of tools called "Finder Shortcuts" that had a screen capture tool. I think it was Control-Open Apple-4... maybe? Then you could paste it into Apple Works (or the current equivalent). Good luck!
