Crochet How-to: Adjustable Magic Ring

I was browsing through some crochet books in the local bookstore a few days ago, and I realized that most American crochet books don't teach the adjustable magic ring technique for crocheting in rounds. It's a very good technique to learn since it'll make crocheting in circles so much easier!

There's already a bunch of website and blogs that does an excellent job of explaining the technique, here it is:

Another technique is the sloppy slip knot: http://www.freshstitches.com/wordpress/?p=19

It's easy to do!

Stacey - The sloppy slip Knot is actually pretty similar to the magic ring, slightly different but they are both good technique to help close up the hole when crocheting in rounds.

Thanks for the comment!
