You know spring is here when the cherry blossoms are in bloom! I was in Washington D.C. in the beginning of April when the blossoms are in their peak bloom, so I headed down there to see it. The blossoms are beautiful this year as always.
The squirrels here are not afraid of people at all and seem quite tame. There's a lot of them hopping about the cherry trees trying not to get stepped on. Here's one that I took a picture of.

You're so lucky! I couldn't go until towards the end of the blooming season but it was still lovely and had ultra fun at the Sakura Matsuri!
